Solution

GC-H launched Zero Waste Clubs under the Clean School Initiative of the Ministry of Secondary Education, combining practical learning, awareness, and green technology exposure in school environments.

Result

Students, school leaders, and institutional partners were mobilised around a visible, scalable, and replicable sustainability model.

Impact

• Environmental: 180 tons of organic waste diverted from landfills, preventing the emission of 27 tons of CO₂eq.
• Economic: Up to 45% reduction in canteen annual operating costs.
• Social: Over 5,000 environmental champions engaged.
