Challenge

Organic waste was not being converted into usable local value at meaningful scale across Cameroonian communities.

Solution

GC-H built local capacity in biodigester deployment through international technical partnership, hands-on training, and context-specific adaptation to Cameroonian conditions.

Result

Biodigesters were rolled out across Cameroon, supporting clean energy generation, fertilizer production, and practical circular economy adoption at household and community level.

Impact

• Environmental: More than 200 recycling initiatives established at source.
• Social: Creation of over 100 direct and indirect green jobs and awareness raised among more than 1 million people.
